Main University degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology at the "Università degli Studi di Milano" University, School of Pharmacy, Milan, Italy with thesis: "La tecnica degli anticorpi monoclonali: uno studio sperimentale di applicazione in campo virologico" Tutor: Prof. C. De Giuli Morghen
Foreign experiences:
- 1981-1984 fellow at the Institut Pasteur in Lille, France working with the late Prof. D. Stehelin

- 1984: joined the CNR Center of Cytopharmacology as CNR Researcher
