Seminar – MULTI-ELECTRODE ARRAY TECHNOLOGY FOR NEUROSCIENCE
seminar MULTI-ELECTRODE ARRAY – BtBs UNIMIB
martedì 21 gennaio 2020, ore 10:00, aula U4-08, edificio U4, UNIMIB
Dr. Marco Aquila, 3Brain AG
Tech in a nutshell: Multi-electrode array (MEA) technology is extensively used in neuroscience to investigate neuronal networks.
3Brain is a leading company in developing and producing CMOS-based high-density MEA technology, which allows uninterrupted, simultaneous high-fidelity electrophysiological recording of network activity at single-cell resolution.
Applications: Whether neurons, cardiac cells, brain organoids, and brain tissues, our technology opens up new possibilities in drug discovery by enabling functional imaging assays, the identification of network functional and dysfunctional states and the precise evaluation of pharmacological responses.
