| Biographical Info | Gessica Sala, Biologist, PhD in Neuroscience. Main research interests: study of pathogenic mechanisms (autophagy dysfunctions, oxidative stress, excitotoxicity) and discovery of biomarkers in neurodegenerative diseases using ex vivo peripheral cells from patients and in vitro disease models. From 2001, Dr. Sala is a member of the Italian Society for Neuroscience (SINS).
