Neurological sofgt signs belong to a chapter of non-localizatory neurological semeiotics that has been developed in the field of psychiatry and that is often neglected (for a rapid review see the audioslides of our recent preliminary work on headache and NSS expression).
Current thesis proposal consists in testing NSS in dementia patients, characterizing at the same time the Val66Met BDNF polymorphism known to correlate with a reduction of hippocampal functional connectivity with the cerebellum.
